A Typical Day in a 3’s Classroom
Each day in the 3’s classroom balances structure and free exploration, creating a predictable and nurturing environment for young learners. A day might include:
Morning Arrival | Children ease into the day with hands-on activities that promote fine motor development and focus.
Learning Time | Teachers guide children through engaging lessons that incorporate the weekly letter, foundational math concepts, and early literacy skills.
Outdoor Play | Time outside in our nature-based classroom fosters physical well-being and imaginative play. Once each week all classes engage in our KidFit gross motor program.
Creative Exploration | Children participate in art, music, and storytelling, drawing inspiration from current themes or seasonal events.
Social Connections | Group activities, circle time, and free play help children build friendships and practice collaboration.
Reflect and Prepare | The day concludes with a moment to reflect on their activities and prepare for dismissal.
